The 2025 International Conference on Computer Vision and Control Systems (CVCS 2025) will be held during 22-23 March 2025 in Beijing, China, organized by Hubei Zhongke Institute of Geology and Environment Technology.
Computer vision is a subfield of AI and machine learning that deals with enabling computers and systems to interpret and understand visual information from the world. It involves processing and analyzing digital images or video streams to identify objects, patterns, movements, and even emotions. The process typically includes image acquisition, pre-processing, feature extraction, object recognition, scene understanding, and decision-making. Control system is an engineering discipline concerned with the behavior of dynamic systems, i.e., systems whose outputs change over time in response to inputs. In the context of robotics and autonomous systems, control systems design how these machines should react and manipulate their environment. A control system receives input, processes it, and then sends commands to actuators to achieve specific goals, such as maintaining stability, following a trajectory, or avoiding obstacles.
Computer Vision provides the necessary environmental context and situational awareness that Control Systems require to make informed decisions and execute precise actions. Together, they form the cornerstone of many modern autonomous technologies, including self-driving cars, drones, industrial robots, and advanced manufacturing systems. Computer vision supplies the "eyes" for robots and automated systems to understand their surroundings, while control systems serve as the "brain" that processes this visual information and orchestrates the appropriate actions in response, thus creating a closed-loop system that allows for complex interactions between machines and their environments.
CVCS 2025 aims to share scientific research achievements and cutting-edge technologies, understand academic development trends, broaden research ideas, strengthen academic research and discussion, and promote the exchange of academic achievements and research information. It will focus on hot topics such as computer vision, image processing, recognition and control system. CVCS 2025 will provide an international platform for global researchers and practitioners to exchange and share advanced developments in this field. This event will provide unique opportunity to have fruitful discussions about computer vision and control system.
On behalf of the organizing committee, we would like to extend a sincere invitation to all outstanding scholars and warmly welcome your participation and submissions for publication.
The goal of CVCS 2025 is to bring together scholars, engineers, and students to share experiences and latest research findings on those topics, including submitting your work to this conference. You are warmly welcome to join us.
